Poinsettia Day Lapel Pins
Posted by Signature Pins | Tuesday December 11th, 2012 | Topic: Custom Lapel Pins
Poinsettia Day was pronounced by Act of Congress in honor of Joel Roberts Poinsett, who died on 12/12/1851 – He was the one who brought the plant to the U.S. when he was the Ambassador to Mexico. The story of the Christmas plant dates back to when a young girl wanted to bring a gift to church at Christmas time, and all she had was the plant. When she entered the church, the leaves turned red which began the Christmas tradition.
Poinsettia pins are your unique vision. They can be created to resemble the Christmas plant or have an image of the red plant on them. They can be small or large depending on the amount of detail that is included in the design.
You can also have text on them that identifies the pins as being a keepsake from 2012. If you want to put your Christmas party or event’s location on them, you can do so. This helps keep the sentiment of the occasion alive in the minds of your guests. Anyone that wants to remember your special Christmas get-together can do so by looking at and wearing their pins.
Don’t forget packages for your poinsettia pins. We offer velvet boxes and acrylic cases for presentation options. You can also select custom cardstock. It can be personalized with a message, quote, lyric or poem according to your holiday theme. Packaging pins make them easier to hand out at your event.
